The principle purpose of the Josiah Hayden Pre-School is to provide opportunity for children to participate in a variety of activities designed to help build social skills, develop their creativity, instill a positive self-image, and enrich both their physical and intellectual development.

The goal for the Josiah Hayden Pre-School is to provide an environment where:

Children can develop social skills and a positive self-image in a peer setting.

Children have the opportunity for self-expression through music, art, and movement activities.

Children can develop their physical skills through activities that promote coordination and balance.

The program services children ages 2.9 through Pre-Kindergarten. Each day the teachers work with the students to enhance their understanding of mathematics, science, language and literacy based on their individual ability

The program will not discriminate in providing services to children and their families
on the basis of race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, sexual orientation, disability or marital status.

Children are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and all children must have a Hayden membership and a completed Pre-School registration.
